Dietetics North Essex
The service is provided for children and young people (CYP) with severe learning disabilities who attend a specialist education setting in north east Essex.
A dietitian can help you to:
- Choose foods that are healthy for you
- Eat and drink safely
- Help you understand how food choices affect your health
A dietitian can also:
- Help you to become more involved in your food choices
- Teach carers how to help you make good food choices
- Talk to people involved in your life
How to access the service?
Referrals are accepted from school nurses, GPs, community pediatricians, acute pediatricians and outpatient services, social care and other allied health professionals. Please note, we also accept referrals for children who live outside of the area but are enrolled in a school in north east Essex.
