Chelmsford Central Family Hub

The Chelmsford Central Family Hub provides a welcoming service offering access to and support for children, young people and their families. Our teams of health visitors, school nurses, wellbeing nurses and support practitioners support the provision of a range of activities, advice and services to enable and empower children and young people to achieve their potential.

Families can access groups, learning through play and practical support as well as information on child development, health and wellbeing. The hubs also work closely with community partners to make it easier for families to access the support they need. Please see the individual timetables detailing the groups and services offered in the hubs and delivery sites and local community based activities.

Chelmsford Central Family Hub serves the areas of Chelmsford District. Drop-in or ‘by appointment’ activities, health and wellbeing services run at specific times throughout the week. Please check individual service pages ‘or your booking confirmation’ for days and times to confirm.

The Chelmsford Central Family Hub is located directly opposite Chelmsford Library internal entrance in the Old Registrar’s office on the lower ground floor of County Hall. Enter County Hall off of Market Road. We also run some sessions within the children’s section of Chelmsford Library.
