Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service to host Family Hub Conference

We’re delighted to host the Family Hub Conference on Wednesday 8 March 2023 at Boreham House, Chelmsford, Essex.

The conference is focused on sharing how the family hub model is shaping and transforming the lives of children, young people and families, through service integration and strategic joint commissioning.

Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service, run by HCRG Care Group in partnership with Barnardo’s on behalf of Essex County Council and Hertfordshire and West Essex NHS Integrated Care Board, established its family hub model back in 2017.

The hubs provide services in the heart of local communities for children, young people and their families to easily access a variety of holistic support and activities from ECFWS and other organisations. This integrated way of working brings together health and social care and has been proven to make a positive difference to families in Essex.

We have secured some of the country’s leading experts within family hubs, who will share their knowledge and confidence to implement a family hub model. We’ll also demonstrate the sustainability and effectiveness of our family hub delivery model in Essex through an outcome-based model- sharing the ways we have combined innovation and local expertise to make a difference to the lives of children, young people and families. There will be an opportunity for discussions on commissioning, transformation, outcome frameworks and system integration.
